Summary
Pseudoarthrosis is a severe complication in bony healing because prognosis remains reserved when even not infaust, also after surgical treatment. Considering this difficulty, authors have looked for a possible solution, associating a correct and stable fixation method to the use of a biomaterial, like the equine native lyophlisate collagen, capable of inducing tissue cicatrization. The objective was to guide the healing, valued in terms of time, ossification, exuberance or rather the bony callus dimension, and of the adjustment of remodeling, that is the “restituzio ad integrum”.
