Summary
The authors describe the major concepts of laser surgery. Particularly, general physical principles of laser energy, laser-tissues interactions, different typologies of available laser systems and basic laser operational techniques, are described.
Only with an appropriate theoretical preparation and a congruous exercise, the veterinary surgeon can get the craved maximum benefits from laser methodology.
