Summary
This work consists of a prospective analysis of all dogs suffering from shoulder disorders and received at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital from January 2009 to June 2010. The aim of the study was to evaluate the benefits and disadvantages of using shoulder arthroscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of this joint. The resulting data were compared with those reported in the literature. This work is an abstract of the degree thesis of first author.
