Summary
Malignant form of the former item: “the cystadenoma”. The differential diagnosis is ultrasonographyc by suggestion but only cytological for the confirmation of malignancy. The lesions appear as well circumscribed, regular or irregular, anechoic foci, typically associated with far-enhancement artifact. The cavitary lesions commonly demonstrate multilocular pattern and changes in tissue appearance immediately around the area.
