Summary
Lymphoma is the most common tumor of the smoll intestine of the cat. The ultrasonographic lymphomatous infiltration appearance is that of an omogeneus, hypoechoic tissue variously diffuse along the intestine and variously infiltrating the intestinal layering. The lymphoma can be isolated (only one intestinal tract), multiple (more than one tract); it can have annular morphology (a short tract), a sleeve shaped appearance (a longer tract), it can be asymmetric in the wall or in spread plaques. The ultrasonographic imaging proves a good capacity in the identification of these macroanatomical forms.
