Summary
Fluid within the Uterus is easily visualized by means of ultrasonography. Concurrent uterine wall thickening, endometrial cysts and polyps are also common and well recognized and described.
Ultrasonography alone cannot provide the proper identification of different pathological noxae as idrometra, mucometra, emometra, piometra.
